First Fire call of June 2012


On the first day of June got the first fire cal received pass 1:00 in the morning at North Baluarte near Iloilo Fishing Port. Police reported the blaze started at the center. Frantic call through the radio by a police officer needed fire fighters badly at the scene. The Bureau of Fire Protection was informed and preceded at the scene. Fire volunteers also proceed to the scene. ICER Medic 2 and Rescue 1 ambulances also proceed at the scene. Upon arriving at the scene, a female holding a baby proceed to the ambulance. She told the crew of the ambulance that her baby inhaled smoke when the fire blaze was apparent. Medic 2 crew gave oxygen and quickly assesses the baby patient. After which, they proceed to the hospital. Few minutes past, 3 patient approaches the crew of Rescue 1, informing they need medical assistance. Minor injuries were indicated. The crew applied medical intervention. The BFP announced fire under control at around 1:30am and later fire out at 10 minutes before 2:00am. BFP reported that 3 house was burned. (ebsp)
