Synopsis: At 4:00 AM today, the low pressure area (LPA)was estimated based on all available data at 680 km east of General Santos City (5.0ºn, 131.8ºe). Northeast monsoon affecting Luzon.
Forecast: The regions of CARAGA and Davao will experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Cagayan Valley and the province of Aurora will be cloudy with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the country and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
