First Fire Call in March 2012






On March 6,2012 at pass three in the afternoon, the weather was dry and hot with temperature raising around 32 degrees Celsius. The office receives a call from Housing Mandurriao. A fire blazing from one part of the house saw by the caller. The callers house just near the location of the fire. And at the same time, the Bureau of Fire Protection also receive from another callers that there is a fire going on. Iloilo City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office dispatch ICER team to the area at around 3:07pm the same time with BFP Fire Truck & Ambulance rush to the scene. ICER Medic 3 ambulance reached to the scene and the BFP radio declared "fire out and under control". BFP Molo and Jaro fire truck was first on the scene. ICER team quickly proceeds to the scene and have one patient. The patient suffers from inhalelation of smoke just beside the burning house and was introduce H2O at the scene. In addition, no one was hurt and BFP declared investigation under way what cause by the fire to break out. ICER team pulled out and head back to office. (ICER-061)
