A fire call receive at 20 minutes before midnight on April 21, 2010 at Arevalo. It was confirm after 5 minutes of two call from BFP main office and Police Station 6 Arevalo that a fire wake up the neighborhood and call the authorities. We arrive at 12:01 at the scene. We geared up for the rescue & medical and firefighting assistance for the call up. Upon arrival we set-up for the medical corner at the hi-way at the opening of the subdivision. And other team proceed at the scene for firefighting assistance and rescue personnels for any patient/s if injured and difficulty of breathing. After 50 minutes it was declared fire under control and confirmed that two houses where burned. One is partially burned and the other where totally burned.
If fire break out please call ICER (Iloilo City Emergency Responders) at 335-1554.

if u dont have any pre-hospital trainigs yet, ICER staff conducts trainings like EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDER- it would be an advantage if u have trainings like BLS, ACLS, PHTLS etc.
anyway, most of the volunteers here are EMT-B, radtech, nurses even non-medical courses. see u here soon

ReplyDeletei just want to know how long the response time from calls & equipments & your system used, mobile ambulances and etc.Ops, hindi ako talaga Iloilo city it's just my wife lives there. We are constantly having presentation from case to case we encountered here and i find this interesting rural EMS you have there, Don't worry i will not compare each EMS system i noticed

ReplyDeletejust wanna ask kon gabaton kamo volunteer subong? gusto ko maging part sang team kay daw ka-exciting kag for sure damu2 ko matun-an. im a newly registered nurse & already attend seminars like Disaster Nursing & Emergency Preparedness, BLS/ACLS, etc. kag mangkot na lang ko tani kon ano ang mga requirements kon mag-apply? salamat.
