Bike Accident at China Town



A call from traffic and police radio alerting ICER to proceed to Iloilo China Town at around 3:30pm March 8, 2012. Medic Three was dispatch in the said location. On board was three Registered Nurse, a Paramedic-Advance and our driver. We has informed that the male patient was hit at the wrong side of the road by a L300 van and patient is intoxicated. The patient slightly disoriented and confuse. Responders notice a strong whiskey smell from the mouth of the patient. The male patient was not badly hurt and a slight lamp on the left leg. No other injuries was found and responders was thorough check with the patient. We transport to the patient's house to be endorse a a folk or guardian. While we headed on the location of patients house. He directs our ambulance to the wrong side of the road towards the house. Our driver was quickly reverted to the other side while the patients insist to go to the wrong side of the road. At the patient's house, we was inform by the close friend of the patient folk that this patient always in a bike accident when ever he was drunk. We let the patient rest to there house and headed to another call-up that afternoon. (ICER-061)
