Iloilo City hosted the 1st International River Summit

Iloilo City hosted the 1^st International River Summit held in EON Centennial Resort in Alta Tierra Village in Jaro, Iloilo City showcases on how to protect the inhabitants of our river and important to develop our river banks. This event is important to our environment and development of our city on how to improve the developing city around the world.  Iloilo City was very grateful to host the event due to the rapid environmental development of our city. For few years ago, the city promotes environmental development and made success of the project that was started by the previous City Mayor, Jerry P. Treñas (now, Congressman of Lone District Iloilo) and continued by our present City Mayor, Jed Patrick Mabilog. ICER medical team was also dispatch at the venue and events around the city. Together with the crew of one ambulance at the vicinity of the venue and medical team inside the event center to keep an eye on the participant’s medical and emergency needs. It started from Wednesday May 30, 2012 and ends on June 1, 2012 (Friday). Hope this event will continuous to evolve and promote clean river and develop river banks. (ebsp)
