April 2, 2012. A call was received from police through radio
at 10:46pm regarding a wounded man who had an accident on his bicycle at
Bonifacio Drive infront of Ramon AvanceƱa Hall of Justice. A Red Cross
volunteer was present and actually saw the incident and helped the injured
person. He then calls for police assistance and back up from their headquarters
which is near the area of incident. Ambulance (Medic 3) and crew arrived at the
scene and assessed the patient together with the Red Cross volunteers. Patient is
obviously under the influence of alcohol and had a laceration on his right
eyebrow and abrasions on both hands. Patient sustained minor injuries and
decides to go home but the crew won’t allow him to be in his bicycle again and
decided to bring him home with an ambulance. The police told the patient to
claim his bicycle at La Paz Police station. Patient was then brought to Don
Esteban, Lapuz, La Paz where he live. A Barangay Tanod at Don Esteban
identified the patient then took him over from the ambulance crew.
