First Aid at Villa Anita

April 9, 2012 at around 3:30 in the afternoon. Dispatch received a call from Brgy. Capt. Alag of Villa Anita, City Proper. About a male patient that was injured while picking mango's on the roof. Medic 3 was dispatched to the location. Upon arrival the patient was found sitting on the bench with a large cut on his left foot. Wound treatment was performed, the laceration cleaned and packaged, further physical and medical assessment performed. The patient was then advised to seek further medical and surgical treatment. The patients family then requested the team to transport the patient to Western Visayas Medical Center. Pre-arrival notification was relayed to the hospital, and the team. (ICER-061, djgp)
