Unarmed Assault on a Minor

April 10, 7:30pm– The Iloilo City Emergency Responders encountered an 11 year old male claiming to have been beaten and trampled by unidentified men on an obscure area near corner Aldeguer, JM Basa Street. The boy was allegedly strolling on the streets when he was suddenly was seized by unidentified men and was trampled, kicked, and battered until he was found by a tricycle driver and concerned citizens. The concerned citizens then assisted the boy and transported him on the tricycle to the ICER office. The police assisted in the incident thereafter. The boy had several abrasions and bruises on various parts of his body and complained of pain on the right area of his shoulder. The boy was then transported to West Visayas Medical Center for further evaluation. (AG/djgp)
