Karate Summer Camp Dislocation
April
12 – The Iloilo City Emergency Responders responded to a call at the Karate
Summer Camp at Robinsons Mall. Dispatch has it that a male participant of the
camp had twisted his left lower extremity. Upon arrival, responders seen the
patient lying with the left leg internally rotated at the patellar area with an
equally rotated ankle, possible dislocation was assumed. However, prior to
arrival of responders, the patient had already received a topical analgesic
sprayed on the area of injury. Moreover, the patient was immobilized on the
spineboard and transported to Medical City for further evaluation and
