Oton rescue

Nov. 28, 2011 at Sto. Antonio, Oton. A passenger van plying the Iloilo - Antique route struck the back of a passenger jeepney. A pregnant patient was caught off guard while entering the jeepney. Her leg was caught on the the steps of the jeepney. Oton Fire Station and Oton Search and Rescue Team (OSRT) called up and requested technical rescue assistance from ICER to extract the pregnant patient. Medic 2 and Medic 3 were dispatched to the scene with the jaws of life to help extract the patient. Upon arrival on scene. The patient was still trapped. Team proceed to extract the patient from the mangled jeepney. After freeing the patient Medic 3 transported her to Iloilo Doctors' Hospital. The patient sustained lacerations and suspected fracture at her right leg.
