Fire at Gustilo Lapaz
April
3, 9am – a fire call was received from Gustilo, Lapaz reporting of a
residential area on fire. The Iloilo City Emergency Responders Medic 3 and
Rescue 1 then responded to the area with preparations for any casualty in the
fire. The Bureau of Fire, Federation Fire and Iloilo Citizen Action Group also
responded to the scene. A few minutes after the ICER team arrived, the fire
protection group announced fire out at 9:30am. The owner of the home caught on
fire had bouts of hypertension and was then taken to a quiet place and calmed
down. The residence was partially burned and no casualties were reported. (AG /
