Medical Emergency at Robinsons Place at the Entrance of Mabini Street


April 11 – A call was received at the Iloilo City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office reporting of a trauma case at Robinsons place, Mabini street entrance. Upon arrival, the patient was seen in tripod position gasping for air. Upon assessment, responders found out that the patient has history of asthma and was not able to bring his handy inhaler. Oxygen was given to ease and responders interpreted the case as medical. According to the patient’s companion, the patient began hyperventilating on the jeepney on his way to Robinsons place. The patient’s cousin from Delgado then met the ambulance and was then transported with the patient to their residence at Jaro. (AG/djgp)
